Stratelyst Creative took the time to get to know Williams and understand our goals for the events, and they added significantly to the decision-making progress with insightful questions and expert suggestions.
This outstanding liberal arts college partnered with Stratelyst Creative (previously Innovative Protocol) for the Teach It Forward campaign rollout events for alumni and donors in six major U.S. cities plus London. Stratelyst Creative’s primary task was to create a consistent look and feel at each of the very different venues that would deliver the primary campaign message to these all-important constituent groups.
Our number one priority was to design programming and messaging that would inspire Williams’ constituents to support the $650 million Teach It Forward campaign. The Stratelyst Creative and Williams partnership resulted in a road-show model that was educational, emotional, and – most of all – inspirational.
From New York City to Los Angeles; from Washington, DC to Boston; from San Francisco to Chicago and London, Stratelyst Creative provided strategic programmatic excellence to highlight the various purple with purpose campaign themes in each location.
In each city, TED-style plenary sessions opened a day-long program, immediately followed by interdisciplinary breakout sessions led by Williams’ star faculty and illustrious alumni. An elegant reception wrapped up the afternoon educational sessions and provided the perfect gateway to a stellar gala dinner complete with a series of live entertainment performances by students and alumni. Each evening culminated with the singing of “The Mountains,” a Williams tradition that left guests reinvigorated and reengaged with their alma mater.
Throughout this yearlong process, Stratelyst Creative provided specific program recommendations, onsite oversight, lighting and video design, vendor negotiation and management, and technical direction for each city location. We provided the Williams College advancement team a master timeline and production schedule for the campaign rollout and served as the onsite producer for each event, overseeing every aspect of load-in and load-out logistics.
Williams College and Stratelyst Creative successfully delivered the Williams campaign message to its alumni and donors through outstanding strategic messaging and unequaled production value. This reengagement opportunity has opened new doors of support from its constituents, reiterated Williams’ relevance and influence in the surrounding world, and repositioned Williams College as the premier liberal arts college in the United States.
